Land Surveyor
Project Manager/Staff Land Surveyor
Job Description:
The primary function of this position is to take on a project manager role within the surveying division at EcoStrategies. This may include but will not be limited to: providing all aspects required to complete land surveying projects from start to finish. Candidates will perform assignments under the direction and supervision of a licensed professional surveyor (PLS) or work independently as an already-licensed surveyor and will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow their career. The position is full-time including benefits (health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan).
Requirements:
- Familiarity with solo crew operations including robotic total station operation and GNSS receiver operation is preferred. Familiarity with Leica brand instrumentation also preferred.
- NY or PA Professional Surveyor’s License preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of surveying work experience or B.S. degree in Land Surveying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in AutoCAD or Carlson Survey drafting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and committed to the highest quality work performance.
- Flexibility to work independently across multiple projects and to prioritize work based on project timelines.
- Willingness to work in both the field and office and travel as needed (90% of work is local but 10% may require travel).
- EcoStrategies also provides a full suite of engineering services, specializing in environmental and water resources, and has a collaborative partnership with our sister company FORECON, Inc (FORECON), which is a forestry consulting firm.
