CONESTOGA RIVER, PA
ST2 SURVEY TECHNICIAN TRAINING
The shortage of licensed surveyors and support personnel is well documented and expected to continue for the foreseeable future. To help bridge the current gap, the Pennsylvania Society of Surveyors is excited to announce that we have partnered with the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association (IPLSA) to help promote the new ST2 online technician training program. PSLS will receive a 20% revenue share for each Pennsylvania resident who takes any of these courses.
ST2, created by IPLSA, is an on-demand training program consisting of 16 training modules that can be taken individually or as a complete course in preparation for the CST Level I Exam. This new virtual training program is intended to give technicians the skills they need to increase competency or learn new areas of the field work at their own pace. The courses include guidance for additional field training to be administered by employers and aid technicians in applying what they are learning.
Courses for this program are taught by some of the top instructors in the country: Joe Paiva, Kory Allred, Dave Will, Gary Kent and Jim Peterson.

CST Exam Prep
Each ST2 course is segmented with quiz questions throughout the presentation. Students must answer at least 50% of the questions correctly in order to continue. Employers also have the option of tracking their employee’s progress through the various modules. Following successful completion of each course, the student will receive a certificate noting their completion.
The new ST2 program gives flexibility to make changes and adapt the course to the needs of employers based on feedback from employers and students. Additionally, it provides flexibility for employers and students to take the necessary courses at their convenience.
The course is currently available for enrollment at an introductory rate.
